Harvest Song
Nathi Dube
Instrumental worship · full recording coming soon
Story behind the song
Nathi grew up singing at the end of harvest, when the work was done and nobody was in a hurry. He wrote this to bring that rhythm into a city he now lives in, where thanksgiving has to be chosen rather than gathered.
Lyrics
We came in with empty hands We are going out with songs You grew what we could not grow You kept what we let go Thank You, thank You, in the field and in the famine Thank You, thank You, You have never once been late
