The Waiting Room
Selah Mensah
Instrumental worship · full recording coming soon
Story behind the song
Written across fourteen months in a notebook Selah kept in a hospital bag. Each verse was added on a different visit. She recorded it only after the season ended, but kept the unresolved final chord.
Lyrics
Same chair, same clock, same prayer And You have not moved from here I thought waiting meant You were away But You have been sitting with me all day So I will wait, I will wait Not for an answer — for Your face
