You do not have to solve everything in this moment
Take a slow breath.
For the next few minutes, you do not have to figure everything out. You do not have to anticipate every possible problem, prepare an answer for every uncertainty, or carry tomorrow's responsibilities into this moment.
You may have come here with a mind that refuses to become quiet. Perhaps there is a conversation you keep replaying, a bill you are wondering how to pay, a decision you are afraid to make, or a future you cannot predict.
Sometimes the body is sitting still while the mind is running in several directions at once.
And sometimes, beneath all that thinking, there is a quiet belief: If I stop worrying about this, something might go wrong.
But what if worry is not what has been keeping everything together?
What if you have been exhausting yourself trying to provide a kind of security that no human being can manufacture?
You are allowed to care deeply without carrying everything as though the outcome depends entirely on you.
For now, simply become present. Notice where you are. Notice what your mind keeps returning to. You do not need to fight those thoughts or pretend they are unimportant.
Bring them honestly before God.
A quiet question to begin: What am I trying to mentally solve right now that I cannot actually resolve in this moment?
You do not need an immediate answer. Just be honest.
